I write this poem about someone I love
And, no it's not about some guy
It's about someone who tries so much
Just wishing he would give her a try

But he gave up on her a while back
He says that she was always wrong
But she knows his opinion isn't fact
She still loves him after so long

She just wants to be treated with respect
The respect she so clearly deserves
She's confused by the way that he acts
She wonders if his heart is hers

He tells her to get out almost every day now
He blames her for his mistakes
Saying she turned him into a person this foul
But, she thinks he still has what it takes

She's sure he's cheated
from the things he does and writes
she feels so defeated
because he comes home late most nights

Other guys like her
But she has her mind set on him
And I can't convince her
to date other men

She wants to know that someone loves her
That somebody cares
And, I know I'm no "kind sir"
But, I want her to know I'll always be there

I may not always show it
But, hey I'm a teenager
It's my job to throw fits
And annoy her

Really, the truth is
That she's like my best friend
And, no matter what happens
I'll be there untill the end

You didn't want everyone else to know
You smiled in my face
You're a bitch and you took away my faith

Why did you say you were my friend?
Well I guess I figured it out in the end
You're triffling in this
Never thought you'd turn out to be a two faced bitch

It's gonna take me a long time to get over this
Well I guess you got your wish
Now i'm gone & i'm never looking back
You really hurt me bad

I really cared about you
I can't believe what all I heard turned out to be true
I will never forgive you
So keep running your game & doing what all you do

So stop acting like you didn't know
You must have been afraid of me because you put on a show
Damn you deserve an oscar for your whole performance
You lost a good friend so I hope it was all worth it
